Peace ☮ for everyone from Russia 🇷🇺 We are not enemies. 🇺🇸

@DiogoJ1 no. Minorities doesn’t respect him. He’s literally started apartheid against Russian speaking people
1
@ minorities matter. Especially in autonomous regions like Crimea (Russian majority population), Hong Kong, Macao and etc. otherwise, it’s a typical apartheid. Russians in Crimea wants their language back as an official. Simple as that. But Ukraine doesn’t care about them. Well… they can be like Kosovo then. They can decide about their future without Ukraine.

@DiogoJ1 and Ukraine perfectly know that Crimea is a pro-Russian region. That’s why they don’t wanna some things like UN referendum. Russian is a number one minority in Ukraine. Just imagine blocked French language in Canada.
1
@DiogoJ1 majority in Crimea decide to be a part of Russia. That’s all. They always voted for pro-Russia parties. Same for Donbas.
1
@DiogoJ1 it’s not treason. They are fighting against imperialism. Just like Taiwan or Kosovo. It’s their choice.
1
@DiogoJ1 Canada doesn’t have that right. It’s literally discrimination. Same situation was in Yugoslavia. By the way, Serbian language is an official language in Kosovo. We are talking about people, not government interests.
1
@DiogoJ1 Canada doesn’t have that right. Look at Kosovo. Serbians don’t like them. But Serbian is an official language in Kosovo.
1
@DiogoJ1 it’s not fine discriminate your own Russian speaking citizens. It’s not fine to discriminate criminals too. Look at prisons in Norway.
1
@DiogoJ1 So Kosovars are also a minority. Following your logic, shouldn't they have agreed to discrimination from the beginning?
1
@ deleted all regional languages is a proper reason. Ir was before war. And especially after revolution. And especially since it’s autonomy
1
@ Serbia wasn’t democracy according to your news. But it’s not completely true.
1
@ This is outright imperialism, not taking into account the interests of minorities and erasing regional languages. It's true apartheid. And yes, there are no elections in Ukraine anymore. They could have held them. In Moldova, even Transnistria voted.
1
@ Under Yanukovych, there was a law in Ukraine stating that the language of a minority would be considered a regional language in a certain area if the population of that minority made up more than ten percent. Currently, there are no officially recognized regional languages in Ukraine, despite being a multiethnic country. Crimeans want to speak Russian and receive their education in that language. Imagine if Canada abolished the French language; many would consider that an act of discrimination
1
@DiogoJ1 So Ukrainians took the first step, an unconventional revolution. Although both Crimea and Donbas voted for Yanukovych, no one asked for their opinion. Accordingly, since the change of power was not entirely legal, they have the right to determine their own fate. Whose interests are important to you? People are more important than the borders of the state.
1
@ Expanding NATO eastward repeatedly is what many knowledgeable people warned for many years would cause unwanted reaction from Russia. Those people include Joe Biden. Dissolving NATO would reverse decades of antagonism. A faster route for trading?
1
@DiogoJ1 A revolution cannot be considered legitimate in this case; you are contradicting yourself. Less than ten percent of the population protested. In Crimea, at least seventy percent voted for Russia. This is an autonomy that has the right to determine its own fate, just like Scotland. Or do you consider Kosovars to be revolutionaries while people in Donbas are separatists? Spare us the hypocrisy.
1
@DiogoJ1 The leaders of countries made promises to Russia that this organization would not expand, yet they are engaged not only in defense but also in bombing Serbia; the massacre in Iraq clearly demonstrated this.
1
@DiogoJ1 If Ukraine were wise, it would have calmly allowed a UN referendum to be held in Crimea and Donbas. Consider this a struggle against imperialism. The opinion of the people is more important than borders
1
@DiogoJ1 In that case, NATO should have accepted Russia as a member.
1
@DiogoJ1 not rights, it was agression. Even Austria understand that
1
@DiogoJ1 There is a much larger migration crisis now due to the wars in the Middle East, but that is still not a reason for invasion. However, discrimination against people based on language is a reason for a referendum. You yourself understand very well that the people of Crimea do not want to be with Ukraine; otherwise, they would have calmly agreed to a referendum

Peace ☮ for everyone from Russia 🇷🇺 We are not enemies. I think Crimea can decide about their future.
