  1. I'm going to say that the DSG is really the way to go on the Golf R, I wasn't impressed with the 6-speed manual on track. It just felt like I was going through the motions, there wasn't a lot of satisfaction to shifting, or a lot of feedback to the inputs. The GTI shifter is much better in that respect.
