  1. Update after our week with the car. Key card/fob continues to be a complete nightmare. Substitute Topher just spent 15 minutes trying to get the car to unlock, gave up. We were about to text the fleet company that the car was bricked when we tried one more time 10 minutes later it opened up and worked fine. I realize there's a digital key, but It's 2025 and this is basic stuff that should work. Same thing happened to me earlier this week but I got it to open after only a minute of trying. You shouldn’t need an app to get into your car. I hope there's a fix for the air gap in the driver's window seal. Not sure how well it came through in this video, but it sounds like there's a window cracked open while driving. Other owners reported the same issue on forums, most seem to have gotten it resolved. Couldn't film a Winding Road night drive on the car this week due to an intermittent headlight error. Brought back old memories of my mom's 2002 S60. Reverse Camera is still a coin flip between full screen 360 cam and split screen w/the reverse camera. Having to tap the screen to access the reverse camera while in reverse was distracting/dangerous in multiple instances during our week with the car. Camera quality is excellent though. You need it because visibility looking back isn’t great. Driving dynamics continue to impress. Tons of grip, good chassis balance, but 22" wheels and wide performance tires decimate any driving range this would otherwise have with a 111 kwh battery. Air suspension (?) is constantly adjusting and making noise at low speeds. There's a lot to like about the way it drives, looks and feels...lease deals are even compelling. But for me, the positives are completely eclipsed by the fact that everything is so needlessly oversimplified and difficult to operate. I can live with the window switches but the steering wheel controls are just straight up annoying. Still, I’m sure you’d get used to them with use and time. At least the screen feels like it is from this decade. Super responsive and pretty well designed with minimal inputs between menus. Still would be nice to have some more buttons in the car for frequently used functions. I appreciate form over function but this takes it too far and becomes a safety concern imo. Until cars can drive themselves this shouldn’t be the case. A couple of the issues we experienced are most likely specific to this car. Hopefully Polestar will address some of these in their future models/updates. I'm rooting for them, but I hope they read the room on some of this stuff.
