So what's happening here is a combination of things - the Bridgestone RE-71RS tires have too much grip for the stock suspension and it's causing a rear wheel to lift off the ground around tight turns. When that happens under acceleration, the torsen differential sends all the power to the wheel in the air and spins freely. It seemed to do this more on left-hand corners than right. The simplest solution would be to get a 1.5 way differential and tune the suspension from there. I'm going out to Gingerman Raceway soon, so I'm very curious to see how the car feels at higher speeds. I love the rotation and balance of the chassis, but feel like there are definitely improvements to be made with the suspension and most importantly, the differential. I love the grip and balance from the 205 width square RE-71RS tire setup. As Tire Rack proved recently, tire compound and wheel width are more important than sizing. A narrower tire is actually faster and more responsive on a narrower wheel. We'll see how I feel about that with square 205 width winter tires lol.

That's the torsen rear diff spinning up while the rear tire is lifting off the ground. Pretty wonky handling in stock form with sticky tires!

Oh yeah, it definitely needs a full engine, trans, and diff mount refresh.
