Not going to worry about it until we have more data on the extent of the issue. That 5 year 60k powertrain warranty helps me sleep at night!

Haha the BRZ needs redemption vs. a Hyundai N product!

Yep, Motul 600 and porterfield r4s pads

Here's the link to that wireless Carplay adapter: https://amzn.to/3BhbgAR Update: Still working great after a few days with it. BRZ head unit keeps losing the USB connection, which is mildly annoying. Hoping there’s a fix for that soon.

Nah, if anything I'd consider lifting it for Michigan winters and/or rallycross!

You don’t understand Thomas, people buy raptors here in Southeast MI just to get to work in one piece 😂 these 16s might save me next spring. I’ll probably have to get a lift. Or a Raptor.
5
Haven't driven it enough to tell, but I wouldn't expect it to be much, if any change. I'll report back once I get some miles on the car.

Nothing on the dip stick so far, I'm doing an oil change next week and will see what I find in the oil.

Yes, definitely need to run a dedicated winter tire!

No RTV on my dip stick, but I'm going to do an oil change this week and see what I can. There isn't really any way to tell for sure unless you drop the pan, which I don't see reason to do until your 5yr/60k powertrain warranty is about to expire. We'll see how this plays out. For some reason I haven't heard of as many issues with BRZs, not sure exactly why.

Could be a bit, I need to get another alignment with the wider offset wheels
3
No issues on the 16s, but you definitely have to be careful, there is not a lot of material to take on impacts!
3
The potholes have gotten insane!

The GR86 does ride stiff, the best solution would be to swap on a set of '23+ BRZ springs/dampers. Someone who has gone out and gotten coilovers, etc would most likely sell you the whole assembly for cheap.

I did at first but it was too heavy imo, swapped in an MTEC and very happy 👍

I'll play around with it some, but right now running placard for the street, I may need to let some air out for track use - we'll see!
2
Haha I am! Rear facing child seat works great, we have the duna with a quick release. Can’t fit a passenger in the front seat at the same time but in a pinch they can sit behind the driver. Stroller even fits in the trunk…barely.

I’ve burned zero oil in this one so far, even after a track day. I was surprised, maybe thanks to following break in procedure?

Sweet, enjoy!

Yes, first thing I did when I drove it home!

the concave 17s look amazing

There are definitely quieter setups out there, but for the performance pretty glad with the noise level on the hwy
