  1. If I didn't want RWD (and a BRZ) so badly, I would've sprung for a Fiesta ST in a heartbeat. After spending a week with one a couple years ago, it only got better the more I drove it and lived with it. My only gripe was how over-damped and harsh the stock suspension was on MI roads, but that's an easy fix with more sophisticated dampers or coilovers. Also, stock brakes were incredible from 60-0. These little cars get under your skin!

  2. Yeah, the fast steering rack is nuts. I bet with upgraded pads brakes were even better! I think in 2014 the Fiesta ST had the shortest stopping distance from 60-0 of any Ford ever (104 ft, Motortrend), only to be bested by the GT350R in 2016 (102 ft, Motortrend). I've always likened the Fiesta ST to..."if Porsche made a hot hatch..." lol
