  1. Leaving the rendezvous radar on should not have caused a problem. Spurious interrupts were happening because of two 800hz power supplies not being phase locked.

  2.  @dave7072  But to my understanding, there would have been no data from the rendezvous radar had it not been for a "dithering" artifact of the mismatched 800hz supplies. The computer was constantly being told that the radar was slewing when in fact it was sitting stationary.

  5. Other sources say it was reasonable for Aldrin to have left the rendezvous radar on, and that the source of the problem was two 800hz power supplies that were not phase-synchronized, resulting in spurious incremental radar motion signals when the dish was in fact not moving.
