  6. I only realised Americans lock dogs in cages when I heard YouTubers talk about locking their dogs in crates. That is so horrific. I've by now had dome discussions with people and they belive they do their dogs a favor. I still think it's wrong and sick and yom glad it's illegal in Austria

  7. It´s definately a good idea to educate people. I`ve seen so many Americans on threads saying hurray congrats the AFD lost, because for them there`s onl ythe winnner and the loser they dont understand the parlamentary system. Well sorry neighbors that your restult was this sad. But at least it´s not as bad as ours in Austria.

  8. I'm Austrian. First time I heard about it was in English class. Our teacher said he studied in the US for a year and everyone hearing he's from Austria asked him about the sound of music. He had never heard about it. And than later I saw a lot of American media mentioning it. I haven't watched it. Nobody I know has watched it. We all either don't know it exists or have heard that Americans and Japanese tourists love it. I have watched lots of Austrian and German 1950s movies with my mum as a kid, since she was born in 47, never heard of the Van Trapps Denial mode is well said. My grandpa was a Nazi soldier and went back to teaching after the war. My mum is 77 and says when she was a child they didn't talk about the war and it wasn't talked about in schools at all I'm 43, it was the biggest part of history lessons for my generation and we went to a KZ as a school trip. I'm glad genial stopped and we admit our guilt too. But we do appreciate everyone who wants to blame Germany alone 😇

  9. It`s just sad that the East is still less well off economically and I suppose that`s why so many of them vote for the AFD now. I love that you address that too and don`t just sugar coat the reunification.
