And it will be quite a feat if they are around in another twenty, which would be about their ninetieth year. They are like the Borg in a way, in a mindless conformity way, but even that will not save them from the incredible arrogance and lack of intelligence both on a personal, and organizational level of their completely isolated uber authoritarian leader.   8. This dude is out of touch with reality. China is doomed -- doomed. China is totally dependent on its enemies to continue. He has it totally backasswards. How is China going to protect the oil shipments it needs? China is on the brink of a demographic cliff from which it will not recover. Zeihan claims China will not survive the decade as a united country, i give them a little longer. Their only hope is to bend the knee in the hopes of continuing as is for as long as possible but it will not save them.
