@jacobw446 True, but a constitutional republic is a way for the plutocrats to remain in total control of everything that really matters, while presenting the public with the illusion of democracry. The people thirst for real democracy, but direct democracy cannot thrive in a cullture of lies. And the news media, especially fox is owned by these same plutocrats and are employed to disseminate their self-serving deceptive and delusional narrative.
