You made my Sunday morning a bit more fun. I hear that Tesla reneged on it's no flip for a year policy? Any news on that? It sure would cut down on the number of people that bow out on their reservation if they could just flip them.

EVs don't work in winter? Tell it to Norway. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5DbRyeZNRk

You think the market for 3 & Y has slowed down? Look at the facts. Tesla has increased it's share of total vehicles sold and increased its market share of EVs sold. It's sales are up 100% YOY in Europe and it is the number one EV brand in China and the USA -- get some info, that doesn't come from commercial media which has been trying to strong arm the marketing dollars out of Tesla with lies for years and years.

I quit his channel the first time he exhibited his ignorance about EVs as knowledge.

Tesla ads are a waste because Tesla still believes that people need to be informed to sell cars. Nope: all people who value facts have informed themselves. Bernays proved over a century ago that it is unconscious emotional desires that sell people on ideas, attitudes, and products they really don't need. Tesla will only really benefit from ads when they start to target people though their unconscious desires like the desire for security and sex. Like all the other OEMs who spend billions per year selling fantasy. Only Tesla has more than a fantasy rapped in new sheet metal. Look at the videos of a CT hitting a wall at 140mph: the diver space is nearly still intact -- just amazing. Love your family -- love a CT. And like that.

About Aptera: you said. . . "They've got the right technology". Perhaps you do not understand that Aptera carries its motors as unsprung weight. This totally ruins the car's handling potential. There is a very good reason why people spend tens of thousands of dollars to buy carbon fiber wheels for hypercars: it is the most important factor for handling response. This is not just some minor issue that only boy racers care about. This engineering decision is so dumb it is almost miraculous. But then Sandy despite all his knowledge once suggested that instead of winding it's motors with carbon fiber, Tesla should weave a sleeve and slip it on. This was totally incorrect and would have negated the very reason it was done in the first place. This is the problem with accepting anyone as an authority who is not questioned. The decision to run the Aptera motors in the wheels was made so they could just buy off the shelf parts instead of producing a truly remarkable vehicle. If not for that I would order one to go with my long awaited cyber truck.

@jonsek It's not "handling potential" it's straight up handing. Better not intend to drive this on anything but super smooth roads without any interesting curves or the limitations will become astonishingly apparent to anyone who knows how to drive. You will probably have lots of tire blow outs too because the tire are the only suspension for the motors and rebound over bumps or if you hit a curb head on or something couldl blow out your tires. And there is no reason to have gears or difs if two small motors are mounted inboard. The only thing you said that is true is that it will use up interior space, but it would not necessarily make it less aerodynamic. I am sort of irked about this because I had intended to buy one, but not with unsprung motors. I predict huge dissatisfaction because of this when people become familiar with its limitations.

Can't go up hill? Never tested on hills? The whole idea of unsprung motors is ludicrous and not in a good way. They could have power the Aptera with a Lucid electric motor but no. Go for the cheap off the shelf in hub motors. Fail. Does run OK down hills and on perfectly smooth straight roads.
