  1. Don't remember where I heard this, but I think the cybertruck may have a motor in each wheel. If this is the case I doubt if it will have 4 plaid motors. Even the plaid does not have 3 plaid motors. It only has the plaid motors in the rear.

  3.  @praero551  I agree. As a dirt bike nut in my youth -- I know unsprung weight is the devil. But none the less several EV are using the motor in wheel approach. There is even a company that makes motors just for that purpose. Off the top of my head I think Aptera uses them. But there are several. I thought it was a stupid idea, and was hoping the rumor about the cyber truck is wrong because I would have to cancel my order if it isn't.
