Cool idea (except for the unsprung motors -- sheesh! Cool idea but the whole deal smells like Elio to me.

@n.brucenelson5920 You just wrote that they were "NOT" unsprung. Make up your mind. It doesn't matter who designed the suspension, no body can suspend the laws of physics. If they are not unsprung please explain the design. I may buy one if that is the case. However if they are unsprung, as I suspect, I would never buy such a vehicle. Though it may be OK if all your roads are smooth and you don't care about handling. People spend huge bucks to just shave off a pound or two from unsprung weight, not because they are idiots, but because they care about handling. I expect hitting a curb would blow out a tire or damage a motor in an Aptera but would be pleased to be proven wrong. But no matter that outcome, this was a terrible design decision, that I suspect is the result of wanting to put together something out of off the shelf parts. I have no intention of investing in Apteria, so no due diligence is necessary.
