  1. Seems to me it is almost impossible to actually know, what you get when buying a Tesla, especially if do not have first hand experience of ownership over some period. Every Tesla owner that I have surveyed loves their car. And of course they make almost daily upgrades to Teslas. Take the new "track" feature that appeared yesterday on the Plaid. All of a sudden it's an entirely different car. Even the owners of a Plaid only have a continuing estimation of "what they got". With Tesla, "what you get" can only ever be an estimation based on what it is at the moment.

  2. Should be called the model T: both for Tesla and as a homage to the first commonly affordable ICE and now the first affordable Tesla, and of course for Thor, who had quite a lot to do with lightning and by association electricity.

  3. It's never all over. You think it should be all over, then along comes something like a solar powered Aptera, which may happen, and it all starts up again.
