Consider this. Tesla just purchased a wireless charging company that has segment leading tech. Elon Musk's last academic endeavor was graduate level development in super-capacitors. Randy Munroe recently hinted that he was presently involved with tech he could not disclose for NDA reasons, but did say it had to do with capacitor/battery hybrid power units. Are you able to connect the dots? Capacitors can take up a large electric charge almost instantaneously, but it must discharge quickly too. A super-capacitor hybrid power unit would in theory, be able to charge in seconds but transfer the charge to the batteries which could run a vehicle. A car with such a power unit will make charging an EV a non event. It would happen as you drove out of your garage, or possibly over certain segments of a roadway at speed, and bill you automatically, and you would be on autopay, so the whole charging thing would just disappear.

I live in the USA and lots of things are great. If you live outside of metro areas you may have a problem finding things like interesting conversations and attractive women, but it's pretty much great here. That said, I think I would rather live in a Nordic country because of the lower amount of religious nuts. It's really strange when you consider it: the more religious a countries population is, the lower they rank on the happiness scale ( with maybe some outliers like Bhutan). Guess the insane objective of religion, like saving people's lives after they die, is in opposition to the harmonious and happy life of people while they are actually alive.
