  32.  @tibsyy895  Old tropes. The Teslas coming out of Germany will offer the highest precision of any mass produced car on earth. If you actually followed the owners who talk about their own Teslas, you would know that you are the victim of the media FUD, union hit jobs, and the unimaginable hate and resistance of traditional OEMs and especially dealerships that will lie and build up any minor negative about Tesla to attempt to sabotage a superior product in the weak minded. You basically have no real idea what you are talking about. Tesla is a generation of engineering beyond any other EV manufacturer, and that is a fact. Tesla does not need to advertise to sell every car they make at a profit beyond all other major OEMs. Their customers sell them for them. Tesla customers frequently say that their Tesla is their absolute favorite possession, and that they are continually thrilled by the fact that it is often improved OTA on a weekly basis. People like you have been predicting the fall of Tesla since the beginning. The facts on the ground could not be more out of line with the FUD you have picked up from the media. Tesla does not give free cars to auto magazine staff, or all expense paid junkets to visit a resort and see the new, fill in the blank, which are special magazine cars specially built by hand to get reviews. This is knowm -- child. Or maybe you depend on the financial or auto press or broadcasters whose sole raison d'etre is to sell advertising space or time. And Tesla will not pay the hundreds of millions that they get from all other OEMs. You figure it out. If your are capable.

  39. The most significant weapons in the war: On the Russian side the Krasnopol and Krasnopol M guided artillery shells with a max range of about 12 miles and a hit rate on specific targets of about 80%. The Russian also have a rocket propelled guided artillery round thought to be the equal or better in range of the American rocket propelled guided Excalibur shell. The Americdan Excalibur is devastatingly accurate and can be used by existing M109A7 Paladin self-propelled howitzers which can send Excalibur rounds to 39.3 kilometers (24.4 miles), which ERCA an extended barrel length howitzer can now lob to 43 miles. Their is a German/South African gun that reportedly can do a little better. The Canadians recently supplied Ukraine with both the Excalibur rounds and the Dutch gave a small number of self-propelled howitzers that can use it. It can also be used by the towed guns recently supplied by the USA and Canada. The use and efficiency of these shells in an anti-artillery role by the competing Russian and recently supplied American radar controlled systems that can target and fire on artillery units within seconds of their use may be the knife edge upon which the entire war is determined, baring the deployment of western air power, in Ukraine. To me the most exciting development in this field is that Norway's Nammo has unveiled a potentially revolutionary concept for an air-breathing, ramjet-powered, pseudo-missile that any standard 155mm howitzer can fire at targets more than 60 miles away. A truly great time for Norway, and Nammo to supply the 155s with a shell that can reach out and touch Russian artillery with little or no exposure other than to air to ground or guide missile fire. To have Russia exchange expensive guided missiles for common artillery with uncommon munitions, is not such a bad exchange in a scenario in which missile production is dependent upon western tech they no longer have access to.

  55. Kind of silly since the number one EV manufacturer by far in both China and Europe is Tesla, and they produce cars in both China and Germany. The uninformed and intentionally misinforming media pretends like there is some kind of race going on, while the fact is that there is only a race for "also ran". Tesla is so far ahead of any other EV manufacturer that any meaningful comparison can only be made between Tesla and cars that cost twice as much as a Tesla and Tesla is still the better product. The news media seems to think that other companies are "catching up" to Tesla, but the truth is that minute by minute Tesla is pulling further ahead, and reducing prices at the same time. German auto, with the exception of German Tesla has dug its own grave, Chinese EV with the slight exception of BYD, like the American (with the exception of American Tesla, have yet to produce an EV without losing tens of thousands of dollars on each unit, and BYD who is really only a contender in China, is claimed by the media to be the biggest EV producer in China, while the fact is that this is only true is you count hybrid gas vehicle, Tesla produces the most, best, and only meaningfully profitable EVs in China, Europe, and America, and the reason has nothing to do with the reports by the media, which lives or dies on ad revenues, and Tesla does not advertise. The reason they are number one in spite of the disinformation given out everyday by the media, is because when all things are considered Tesla offers value far exceeding that of all other EV manufacturers and a place to actually charge them without anxiety.

  118.  @lukehallatt394  More like 40k a day. That rate is wearing out barrels faster than they can be replaced. Western weapons have more range than Russian and are much more accurate. One rocket propelled excalibur shell can do what twenty dumb outdated Russian shells often cannot. Russia is unable to replace its high tech missiles. But the main thing is that Russia is at the edge of a cliff of demographic collapse. Everyone with any potential who was able to, has fled Russia, It is not able to produce enough people to continue on the level it has been, It has massive drug addiction, way higher than the west or the USA and alcohol problems, rampant AIDs and one out of every four Russians has a antibiotic resitant form of TB. Russia has basically no future, that's why it is making it's move now, before it just collapses. And at the same time, Putin is the world richest man. He holds his wealth via third party insiders who he holds the power of life and death over. This wealth is hidden in dummy corporations set up by German lawyers in Panama, and most of it is invested in American corporations, many of them in the defense industry. So when Putin attacks a country that responds with American weapons, it is a very good financial move for him personally. And the cancellations of Russian built armaments just keep slipping in. Basically if you see Russia accusing another country of some inhumane or bellicose act it is a sure sign that they do it themselves and the accused does not. They have been playing the same tune since the revolution, and anyone with any sense and potential should get out if they can.
