Consumer Reports gets major funding from the Ford Foundation. Are you people really so full of hate for the most benign and moral major corporation on the planet? Tesla also just got several awards for being vehicle of the year. It is also the safest car of any type in a collision. It also has the highest owner satisfaction by a mile. I could go on and on, and you have to pick though slanted reports by biased media (a all media that depends on advertising revenue hates Tesla because they do not need to advertise -- fool) And in Consumer Reports, they are highly influenced by the Ford money.

You are way behind the times, quoting ten year old concerns that were not true even then. Here is the most important thing for you to understand, because without understanding it, you fall prey to all kinds of partisan disinformation from unions and autodealership associations, and big oil, but mostly from commercial media. Who feels Tesla is stealing hundreds of millions of dollars from them for not paying the ad vig like all the other OEMs have to. Tesla does not advertise. Therefor when one Tesla catches fire when some drunk drives it into a tree at 90mph it is in the news for weeks, on an hourly basis, while the the 350 deaths every year from the 185,000 gas cars that catch fire in the USA, gets no mention anywhere ever. Duped you are.

Total FUD, it's not as if it's company policy. There may have been some racist remarks that were not addressed by some employees to some contractor, but you have to understand the mindset in California, and the clearly opportunistic mindset that can turn a few insults into a couple of hundred million dollars. Jump on the sue Tesla for nothing bandwagon. The payoffs could be monumental. Anyone who even brings up this travesty of justice as a criticism of Tesla is suspect. Just slanted bull. @julianshepherd2038 With the exception of low cost vehicles that would not be legal elsewhere for safety concerns, Tesla is the best selling EV in China. They are not even close to the tech that Tesla can bring. But it is the only chance that companies like GM and Volvo have to compete at all is to have Chinese companies produce EVs for them. But they are not Teslas. People who get to know Tesla engineering, or own one of their cars, sooner or later realize that they are a different generation of EV compared to all others. It's like comparing an F14 Tomcat to an F22 Raptor. They are both great planes, but there really is no fair comparison.

Tesla did borrow some federal money early on in it's development. It payed it all back, with interest before it was due. And I believe it payed a penalty in addition for early repayment. You know nothing and either know your are lying or are a complete dupe. Elon Musk has personally paid more US taxes than any other person in history ever has. He has paid over a million and a half dollars in taxes for every day he has been a US citizen -- get some actual facts -- fool -- because your facts are like the facts of a Trump supporter, alternative facts, -- lies.

@tibsyy895 Old tropes. The Teslas coming out of Germany will offer the highest precision of any mass produced car on earth. If you actually followed the owners who talk about their own Teslas, you would know that you are the victim of the media FUD, union hit jobs, and the unimaginable hate and resistance of traditional OEMs and especially dealerships that will lie and build up any minor negative about Tesla to attempt to sabotage a superior product in the weak minded. You basically have no real idea what you are talking about. Tesla is a generation of engineering beyond any other EV manufacturer, and that is a fact. Tesla does not need to advertise to sell every car they make at a profit beyond all other major OEMs. Their customers sell them for them. Tesla customers frequently say that their Tesla is their absolute favorite possession, and that they are continually thrilled by the fact that it is often improved OTA on a weekly basis. People like you have been predicting the fall of Tesla since the beginning. The facts on the ground could not be more out of line with the FUD you have picked up from the media. Tesla does not give free cars to auto magazine staff, or all expense paid junkets to visit a resort and see the new, fill in the blank, which are special magazine cars specially built by hand to get reviews. This is knowm -- child. Or maybe you depend on the financial or auto press or broadcasters whose sole raison d'etre is to sell advertising space or time. And Tesla will not pay the hundreds of millions that they get from all other OEMs. You figure it out. If your are capable.

It should have been build somewhere in Europe with less corruption and inane outdated rules. They would have been supplying Eruope with the best EVs in the world, even better than the Chinese and American cars of the same model, for 10 months already, would have cut the wait time for buyers and made the gas prices lower in the face of Russian aggression,

@tribalypredisposed Sure, it's just a guess. Anything can happen in the coming year no matter how illogical, as Putin is proving right now. Electric Viking estimates 1.8. Solving the Money Problem is higher. California is supposedly ramping their production up too, and perhaps most importantly China is expanding perhaps doubling its factory. It's still not too late for anyone to get in on the prosperity that Tesla has brought to so many investors (except for the short players lol) There is so much potential upside to having a visionary who is actually capable of making his vision happen. FSD if it should ever really happen, and for a few reasons I am not entirely convinced of that, will transform transportation on a fundamental level. A profound transformation that few truly understand the significance of. And as for the teslabot, well, seems like fantasy to most right now, but they better take up a hobby because everyone may have a lot of affluent free time, like it or not.

By the time the Chinese and German OEMs catch up to were Tesla is today, Tesla will be solid gone, and further ahead than ever.

Why is it so hard for them to realize that one of the most dishonest companies on earth would expect their millions and millions in donations to benefit them? VW group is like dealing with the mafia. Yes, but we have plenty of things that oil will be needed for far into the future, and powering cars and heating homes should be removed from that list as soon as possible.

@MrTohawk Makes all kinds of sense I am sure. What about Norway? Hard to believe there is more corruption their than in Germany. I mean aren't German and British banks always dealing in the dirt, washing money for drug cartels and Russian mafia, I mean oligarchs?

@aurelio-reymilaorcabal9669 I've had BYD for years. There are other EV related stocks that have done much better for me. Though BYD, and GGPI, XPEV, may do better in the future, if the geopolitical situation does not deteriorate. Personally I like NVDA, and REMX performance better than some of the pure EV plays.
