@davidsandall Obviously you are not a fan of fact checking, or you tried it and found out that your are totally delusional. Yeh why should the young people get free college and tech training when you didn't right, why should people get one payer health care and other social programs? They should all make it on their own right? Well bear why didn't you clear forest land for farming with a team of oxen and and axe? Because we try to give the next generation the fruits of our labors so society can advance, and not all be ignorant retrograde fools. Because we have a vision of a golden destiny for humanity on earth and beyond and all you have is selfish criticism of anyone who is more educated and more moral than you are. @davidsandall Trump reduced taxes on the middle class (temporarily) and reduced taxes on the wealthy (permanently) all the while running up the defect at a rate higher than anyone ever has. Just like Bush did before the last economic bust. Now he wants to end social security, medicare, food stamps, help with rent and heat for the needy, and emergency aid to children, to pay for the deficit he ran up. If you support trump you are one of two kinds of people: a multimillionaire: in which case your support make perfect sense, or you just another rube that got coned by a NYC conman. The biggest problem with most Trump supporters is they are one issue voters: guns, abortion, border security. These people have been played for decades by the politicians on both sides. But the fact remains that Obama deported more undocumented residents per year than Trump has. And the Republican are not ever gonna ban abortion everywhere because they would be killing the ecumenical goose that laid the golden egg. And think about this: Trump made bump stocks illegeal and they had to be destroyed or turned in without any compensation. Bernie said that was illegal, and that at the very least the people should have been compensated for their loss. I heard that Trump already has offers to be the new host on The Price is Right, after Bernie crushes that lying mentally ill Mercer puppet.

The reality is that not only do the citizens of the Scandinavian countries (which you consider socialist but which are not even close to socialist) have (and feel free to fact check this) Better yet less expensive health care, free university, freedom from worry about financial ruin destroying their lives, the citizens are happier, and here is the thing that kills all your republican cult bullshit -- higher social mobility into the higher classes. Put people who hate the various agencies in charge of them so they can ruin them and put more Goldman Sachs banksters in the cabinet than ever before. He is a fake populist and Bernie would have crushed him in 16 because the anti Hillary vote in the rust belt would have voted Bernie just like they voted Obama. Only Obama was a puppet just like Trump. Bernie is no one's puppet. I have worked all my life since I was ten. got my social security card when I was ten because I had to work in a factory on weekend and all summer long. And later when I was a glass blower I worked as an apprentice seven days a week for $2 dollars and hour for years and never harbored any negative feelings about those who had an easier life, because I loved my work. My family fought in every fucken war this nation had, including the Revolution. I can take you to a cemetery in the PA dutch area of PA and show you a line of grave stones that goes back to the French and Indian wars and I think that you are anti American.

@davidsandall Here's the thing about Bernie -- you know what you will get because he is honest. I don't want to not be able to sell my ARs if I want to - which I don't. I don't think that people should be rewarded for breaking our immigration laws -- even if it was their parents who did it. I do not think abortion is a good thing, I hate the whole idea that a person would end a growing human life because they were incompetent in their birth control (although sometimes it doesn't work as advertised) But I am not a woman and will never have to make that decision, so I bow out. But to me, getting rid of some of the scum in government, getting a harness on the banksters and especially getting money entirely out of elections is worth the sacrifices and I know Bernie will do everything that can be done to get the legalized bribery of campaign contributions and PACs out of government. So I compromise on the guns and undocumented immigrants.

@davidsandall I don't think that, and I don't know anyone who does. But I do think that the nature of work will change drastically in the years to come, and if we don't let a few thousand people own everything there will be a lot more freedom to pursue one's interests instead of struggling to keep body and soul together. We are already in a situation were most of the workers who have been displaced were displaced by automation. There are already expert AI systems that can read an xray or cat scan a thousand times better than a human. But as it stands now only a very few will reap the great wealth that is being created by new tech. This will lead to destruction of America if the one percent is allowed to run the government and media as hey have for the last forty years..

He has a house in Vermont where his home is, he has a house in DC were he works, like all senators, and his wife's parents left them a house. He also wrote a NY Times best seller and still his entire worth is only two million dollars. You are so wrong you couldn't be more wrong. One out of every two hundred Americans is a millionaire, and most of them have more money than Bernie. But you just condemned Trump and every other congressman in DC as being crooked. With few exceptions you are correct they are mostly owned by the banking industry and other corporate elites, but Bernie is one of the exceptions. Stop spewing republican talking points we heard them all before and they are all spin and lies told to the truly brainwashed.
