Just a moment of history here: When Jimmy Carter was president (the last good man to serve in that office: though a man of his times) he laid off a large number of CIA workers because of the dirty tricks they had been caught at. They in turn went to work for the Republican National Committee with the sole goal of getting rid of Carter. Many of these operatives had specialized in destroying economies in South America that threatened American investments with popular movements. These people went to work to wreck the American economy to get rid of Carter. And they did it. Remember the lines for gasoline and the line at unemployment offices, remember the hostages that were only released in Iran when Regan was sworn in? Then Regan proceeded to illegally sell arms to Iran, bring cocaine (via Bush connections in the CIA) into the American ghettos and use the proceeds to finance antipopulist movements in Central America called the contras that basically tortured and massacred all the populist strongholds of normal people who opposed plutocracy. When Bernie gets elected expect the same. We will have people striving to wreck the economy and blame it on Bernie's policies to get him out of office. They will probably be successful. Forewarned is forearmed.
