  1. If you look at nations and empires and such as organism, and their politics as feedback system within that organism: it can easily be seen that political power has only been gained by two modes. This has been true from the time of the electors of the Holy Roman Empire and even before. You either gain power by giving some of the wealth and power of the elites to the commoners or by giving that of the common people to the elites. This can almost be seen as the breathing of a nation over time. It is long past time that America took a long deep inhale because every politician since Reagan has been presiding over a fire sale of the wealth and power of the common people to the power-elite.
