Always need to wrap the base instincts of humans , in flags, or god's will, or patriotism, or justice, or some such rot to cover up the real rot: the fact that humans in denial of the true sense of their own capacity for brutality and ego enhancing aggression can rationalize anything in order to forever avoid the real intra-personal and cosmic reality of their heinous acts.
Delusional killer apes with language, and brains molded by survival hormones distorted by the delusion that concepts have the same reality as things that don't disappear when no one is thinking or talking about them.
Ever in denial of the fact that their beliefs and conceptual constructs are nothing but superficial devices to cover up the reality that aside from these instinctive hormonally driven distortions of the impulse for genetic expansion of life:
inwardly they actually consist of nothing and must ever avoid this point blank realization.
Unless they are fortunate enough to see that their mind and automatic mental functioning are totally mechanical and their immediate nonconceptual, consciousness awareness transcends all they presently believe to be themselves and hold dear.
I have some hope for a generalized projection of oxytocin from females, and not much else outside of those few persons devoted to the evolution of their own consciousness within their lifetimes. The pursuit of which necessarily entails the abandonment of all forms of hostility, and even all forms of criticism such as I evidenced in the above tirade.
Outside of references to actual physical events and problems, their is no truth in words let alone habitual mechanical thoughts, including these.

FYI: America's most intense growth rate had more to do with the fact that almost all other means of production had been demolished in WW2 than the tax rate. So the USA was producing about half of all manufactured goods worldwide. Although I personally would like to see a return to the tax rates of the Eisenhower era, the current legalized corruption of campaign finance laws will never allow anything but more of the present dynamic and perhaps an even more weighted version of it.
The American middle class was mostly the result of the GI bill post WW2.

You do know that by far most of the slaves brought to America went to Brazil and Cuba, and that only five percent of southerners actually had any slaves. I am still waiting for my reparations from the Catholic Church for enslaving some of my ancestors during Rome. Of course there is a big difference between being worked to death in a Roman lead mine and being worked in a cotton field. For two centuries Islamic pirates raided every coastal town in Europe for slaves, maybe the Saudis should pay reparations for the millions of people worked to death in the name of Islam, because white slaves were so cheap in the north African slave markets that it often did not make economic sense to even feed them enough to survive.
