@powershift2025 With good reason, processed foods alone supports our medical and pharmaceutical industries, which are counting on Americans eating carcinogens (like hotdogs) and becoming chronically ill at an early age, and wondering Y.

@WJdad Good to hear. I am so sick of tribal groups declaring some mountain "sacred" or some such nonsense. Either everything is "sacred" or nothing is. The enlightened man sees the Buddha in a piece of dung -- or so I have heard. Time for beliefs based on nonsense and sentimental emotional blinders to disappear from the face of earth. They have enslaved the minds of the dullards who in tern shackle the actions that are necessary to aspire to our golden destiny among the stars.

@tonywilson4713 American companies frequently have foreign owners (stockwise). I grew up in an area of the country that has been fucked over and over by the coal industry for centuries. A few decades ago when someone became curious about who actually owned Reading Company (one would assume some company in Reading PA) It turned out to be mostly foreign investors who were far from the massive death and destruction their company had caused, foreigners like the Spanish royal family.

@tonywilson4713 You are reflecting my own sentiments regarding the neocons, and economic theories that seeped out of Chicago. On the other hand I do not consider all concentrations of wealth as evil. A billion people with one dollar each could not do much while one person with a billion dollars to allocate could do a lot of good or harm. But my own view is that we are really on the verge of abundance, and people like Musk will be fighting and joking all the way to get us there. My guess is that there will be a viable Teslabot, not to mention a car that drives itself much more safely than the average human, and the bots will bring a massive evolution to the world economy. Along with this, nano particles that have recently been isolated in mammalian blood seem likely to make extreme youthful longevity available to everyone on earth. So live another decade or two if you can and you may well live another hundred years in a financial situation that today seems ludicrous to even presume.
