@mattayele1906 It may work somewhat to impede illegal migration, but it will not decrease drug smuggling one bit, not one ounce. There is too much profit in illegal substances, too much corruption of enforcement, to much money and sophistication on the criminal side of the equation. There are literally hundreds of was to smuggle drugs that are not, cannot and will not ever be stopped by such rudimentary simple minded ideas. And the southern border is not the only route into the USA.
