  2.  @elinope4745  You can easily start -- unskilled, and make mid twenties in east central PA, if you are willing to live in the hard coal region, you can buy a near mansion for the price of a mobile home. If you have to live in the farm country or outside the region, it's still only about triple that. I do not live there but if you are an off road enthusiast the coal region is like a 24 hour enduro. And you can drive your ATV unlicensed on the streets in places like Shamokin PA.

  4.  @Lawrence-sk2os  When my family arrived here pre revolution, there were no walls, no immigration laws, and a lot of them thought of it as "their county" that was being ruined when the other Europeans stated coming, after they established the USA.

  5.  @joefish4466  I agree mostly, but I always have the feeling that they should stay home and work and fight for the changes they desire. On the other hand when my own family immigrated to North America from the Holy Roman Empire, they were basically invited to come with lures of free land, and freedom. What they found was lots of opportunity and lots of strife with the inhabitants. At that time there were still strong houses and forts along the Appalachian range (oldest mountains in the world -- even predate the first dinosaurs) so that the settlers could flee and hold out against the frequent Indian raids.

  6. Dude the increased cost of labor is one of the key drivers of inflation. Now due to the falling labor market (the perception of it anyway) we are actually presently in a period of deflation, that has yet to be realized. Prices are falling like Russians in a meat assault in Ukraine.

  9. Depends where you want to live. I am selling a house with hardwood floors throughout, cedar closet, four bedrooms, a detached garage, fairly new roof, all new insulated windows, a huge fenced yard, high cellings, the best heating system I have ever experienced, baseboard hot water, in an area where unskilled workers start at low to mid twenties, and I will be lucky to get eighty thousand dollars for it . I have met people who moved here form California (small town east central PA with basically no crime) just so they could afford a home.

  11.  @emmettkeyser1110  The statistic show that immigrants commit crimes at a lower rate than US citizens, at least for the first generation. It is the second and subsequent generations of these immigrants that cause the criminality.
