Of course not true of all cops, but most. The training and testing given to local police for employment is a joke, and almost insures that they hire the wrong people for the job.

Get your "facts" straight.. Also Tesla is not Musk's company he only owns fourteen percent of it. Most is owned by small private investors. What else do you need to be straightened out about?   10. People from different places are not really all that different if you ignore the superficial, or the apparent issues. Take for instance the Trump supporters that are frequently interviewed for comic effect and the middle aged Russian Putin supporters interviewed on the streets of Russian cities. They are exactly the same people. They have strong passionate beliefs in a fantasy that exists only in the heads of the credulous and nowhere else in the universe. I love to see the inteviews, however every time you or some other young person begins to pontificate at length about what is obvious to anyone outside of one of these magical cults, it really makes me wonder who you are addressing: six year olds perhaps (they are all playing games that have captured their nervous systems) trump supporters (they are not listening to you)? Those are the only two groups that I can imagine benefiting from such extensive explanations of the obvious. I personally would like the interviews much more without the narratives in between. They come of as preachy and boring.

We deplorables truly have no one to turn to. Nobody who seeks power is trust worthy, much the contrary. Well past time for a new paradigm.   16. Bernie must realize that if he runs on a more open immigration policy he will lose. The same rust belt morons who voted for Obama then Trump, the ones that allowed Trump to win, will not vote for an immigrant friendly platform. I realize that this is a hard pill to swallow, but the most progressive agenda that can still win is to profess an enforcement of the laws as they stand now and in the future. This is an issue that will lose the election for a progressive candidate. It sucks, but it is true. Please do not ignore this fact because it seems unfair.

All of the cable news reporters, that is ALL of them, looked like they had just lost their favorite sex toy, or someone had told them that Santa Clause doesn't exist when it became apparent that Bernie was going to win in Iowa.   23.  @Roguesta54  No doubt many of the cops in America will not tolerate any disrespect, and some of them are just dying for an excuse to shoot someone, but just with my knowledge of the various countries of the world, I would say that your sample is very constricted. Try the cops in Burma, or China, or Afghanistan, or Russia, North Korea, Turkey, Belarus, Mexico, Columbia, etc. At least the cops in the US are usually not the same people as the criminals, usually. Most of them like to push people around and don't like real work but those are the people the justices love because they pull that money into the system. It's a game to them, and people are just pieces in the game. Also the fact that there are more guns owned by private citizens in the US than there are people, and cops do get shot here pretty regularly. Though it is far more dangerous to deliver for Amazon or be a roofer than to be a cop. And the roofers I know don't act like hysterical teenagers to be safer.

True: Trump supporters are basically of three kinds: the kind that received huge tax breaks because of him so it "made them a lot richer" (Trumps words), the kind that are opportunistic high functioning psychopaths (like the Trump supporters in Congress with fantastic educations) and see the possibility of a new elite rising up and displacing the present one and glom onto it, and the biggest one, the people who are too stupid to realize how dumb they are and just see a guy who hates the same things that they do -- wrapped in a flag.
