  1. What you do not seem to understand is that despite the grandfatherly patients, sensitivity, and aged issues, Joe spent his childhood in the hard coal region of PA. A bar on every corner (at the time) and lots of drunk, angry, miners in them, many of whom still had jobs, and lots, I mean lots of demented abused kids on the street, just waiting for an opportunity to kick ass for fun or profit. So what? "Nobody fucks with a Bidden." -- Joey B. Now I personally do not agree with much of Bidden' political shenanigans, which are largely symbolic in effect, but serve to alienate the more sane portion of the so-called conservatives (actually right-wing radicals these days). He is a very successful politician, which means many things, including that he is a liar. But the key point is that his decisions whether right (as in support for Ukraine) or wrong (In his posturing against the only successful new American auto company in a hundred years, and attributing their achievements to the unionized traditional OEMs that are struggling to evolve.) At least his decisions are based on reason, even if at times those reasons are political. He may not be able to count on the anti-Trump vote if Trump loses in the primary (not likely). But if Trump does run again, most people will hold their noses and vote for Joe again. If the Republicans manage to shut off the funding of Ukraine, and the Europeans do not take up the slack, one of the most effective means of reducing the power of rule by totalitarian methods, which are always against the evolution of civilization and humans, will have been squandered. The far reaching effects of the undermining of the significance of real facts as opposed to right-wing fancy and fantasy as the means by which the billionaire Robert Mercer (the REAL money behind Trump and the chaos brought on by denial of reality by right-wing nuts and fanatics) could decrease his tax burden. Not the first time a New York City conman (Donny) pulled the wool over the eyes of a bunch of small town rubes, and it won't be the last. But, "Fool me once, shame on you. . ." -- Now we will see if all the "small-town rubes" who loved Trump have been fooled once, or if they actually are fools.
