  1. The use of the term "indigenous people" to refer to less technologically advanced humans is rhetorical sophistry. There are no longer any indigenous people on earth anywhere. Like the snakehead fish and kudzu, all humans are invasive species no matter where they are found. Even the use of the term "native" is misleading. The idealistic fantasy of people being in harmony with the environment is nonsense. Everywhere humans migrated to, there was a wildfire of extinctions that accompanied them. Their ability to exploit the environment was only limited by their capability to do so, not by some spiritual harmony to be found in the hollywood fantasies that have populated the flaccid neurons of most humans.
