This bull. We will be looking back in twenty years and seeing just where the hysteria that ended in causing desperate people, to turn to street drugs to control their pain. And why? Because the media fell once again for the war mongers. War on this, war on that, let's have a war on war and realize once and for all, that the only countries that have had any success dealing with the drug thing are those that decriminalized drugs entirely. All drugs should be available to any adult who wants them. Who are you to raise such fake fears in a public that is still under the sway of the last generation of bull that made all these drugs illegal to begin with? All this will do is increase the heroin use. It is only natural that a bulge in the aging population will use more pain killers than when they were young. Canada uses much more opioids per person than the USA. You can buy codeine over the counter without a script. If you don't realize that by far the greatest part of the harm caused by drugs is caused by their illegal status, then you are really blind. Who would turn to street drugs if they could walk into a store and buy some tablets that were more euphoric and effective then heroin? What if people who pursue pain meds had them, and they were pure and effective without all the prisons and beatings and heartbreak? What if people who were really just trying to kill themselves because of the present economic hammering that the one percent is giving the world, were allowed to kill themselves in peace, without the ridiculous drain of society that the present laws demand?
