@Jenny Jen The animals in factory farms are LIVE if you call being tortured all your life living. Jesus , do some research and get educated. Main reason antibiotics are failing -- animal agriculture. Main reason people develop heart disease -- eating meat. Main source of green house gas world wide -- animal agriculture. Main reason that water and food is wasted -- animal agriculture. Main cause of human disease, whose death toll dwarfs the COVID 19, eating meat and especially preserved meats like sausages and hotdogs, cold cuts etc which the World Health Organization has classified as a class one carcinogens years ago. It is as healthy to eat meat as to smoke or expose yourself to plutonium which are also class one carcinogens. Jesus, do some research and get educated.

@Jenny Jen I don't believe that this has been proven. HIV is thought to have passed to humans from eating chimpanzees. As far as I know, no study has been done to demonstrate that someone eating meat handled by an infected worker cannot contract the virus. This virus has been found to be viable on surfaces inside cruse ships after 17 days, so why not meat that has to be refrigerated and consumed in days? Let me put it this way: If an infected worker sneezed on a slice of baloney do you think it would be safe to eat it?

There are hundreds of real reasons to not eat meat at all, despite your uninformed thoughts on the subject. There is not one good reason to eat meat. Not one. The is no real debate on this issue outside of "research" funded by the meat, dairy, and egg industry and the "authorities" they underwrite. Now you see how much they really care about your health. Meat kills. Look at the fat slobs of Americans that eat at fast food everyday. They die young and unhealthy. Meat is poison. If you wash a chicken in your kitchen, you will find chicken fecal bacteria in every room in your house. This is fact. Even if you have no sympathy for the animals raised all their lives in conditions that are torturous wake up. You desire meat because it is physically addictive like heroin. This is a fact. You intestines are colonized by bacteria that destroy your health. Wake up and stop being a mind washed uninformed thrall of the meat industry. Why is it a criminal offense to show film and videos taken inside of factory farm operations? If you eat meat you are on the wrong side of history and human conscious evolution and ignore facts because you really don't care about being evil when a little bit of your low level satisfaction is at stake.

I like the Jimmy Dore show also, and Rising etc. Actually there are about thirty or so youtube shows that report the news that corporate owned media does not want people to hear. Chris Hedges is the most truthful and courageous of all of them.

Humanity may not be a virus, but at this point all of us certainly are an invasive species, even the so-called indigenous peoples and first nations, and Native Americans are invasive and destroyed the environment as much as they were capable of, given their technological level. For instance a massive wave of extinctions followed the first humans to invade the Americas as they moved south. Despite this humanity has a golden destiny among the stars if we can only wrest political and economic power from the insane automatons that are passing as our leaders. Power should never ever be given to anyone who seeks it. End of story.
