  1. The populace of the USA is like the proverbial frog in a pot of water. Apparently if a frog is thrown into a pot of boiling water it will struggle to get out. However if a frog is placed in a pot of room temp water, and that water is slowly brought to a boil, the frog will just sit in the pot until it is cooked to death. Fact: the biggest contributor to climate change is green house gases. Fact: the biggest source of green house gases is animal agriculture. Fact: the most effective action an individual can take to cut green house gases is to stop buying the products of animal agriculture. Fact: if you are not a vegan, you ARE the problem You have refused to take the one simple and most effective action you are capable of that will help: no matter the fact that the food you chose to eat is making you and the planet sick onto death. In other words if you are concerned about climate change and you have not made this one simple and easy modification of your rapacious lifestyle, you are just another hypocrite, just like all the people you despise. You are not even struggling. You are just sitting in the pot of your own selfish complacence and being slowly cooked to death.
