  1. Comparisons between corona and the flue is called a false equivalency. The flu has already spread throughout the US population. The corona is just starting -- with a four day doubling rate. You figure it out. It is ten times more fatal than the flu. Remember the chess player who took a grain of rice on the first square of a chess board and double it every square, and by the end of the sixty four squares you own the world. This will not be over in a few weeks, it will go on for months and almost everyone will get it. Hand washing etc is bullshit. You breath the air that someone who is infected has breathed out and you have it. And they may not even be symptomatic. Males in good health in their forties seem to have a high fatality rate. This is gonna suck big time and go on until everyone is exhausted, plus we get all our drugs from China and India and have no stockpiles of necessary medical devices. Fucked.

  2.  @netofindra  It may surprise you to know that "the boomers" is a false concept, they have a wide variety of intelligence and progressive tendencies. In fact almost all the progressive movements of today were started by radicals in the sixties who you now group in with Goldman Sachs plutocrats.   4. This is the play that Mercer and the rest of the dark money behind Trump have been waiting for. They will turn any crisis into a fast track to sublimating the government and reducing taxes for the rich. And they understand no rhetoric except the exercise of power, which they have demonstrated over and over again: is not held by the people.

The reality is that anyone that seeks political power are the last people on earth who should be given power. The entire problem -- all our problems are caused by our leaders. The leaders are the problem. All of them.
