  1. US drug policy is all a scam. They have no intention of stopping drugs. The only way to do that is to decriminalize all drugs and treat addicts as medical patients, and give them as much drugs as they want for free, in a clinical setting, while offering therapeutic help. It worked in Switzerland and it will work here. But if they are kept illegal it makes dealing in them so profitable that it cannot be stopped and all it does is create more criminal billionaires. That is the real objective of US drug policy, to keep it a big big money enterprise with law enforcement, and the courts, and prisons, and all the dirty bankers who clean up the money that the criminals make. Without our stupid stupid approach of trying the same thing that does not work over and over drug plants would be the price of soy beans and not one more person would be abusing them than is now.

  3.  @johnpaul5474  lol right you are, what a bonehead I can be. I am not talking about Trumps America, I am referring to the cultures that made America attractive to immigrants. It is not the American appetite for drugs, it is a human appetite and even can be found in other species. It is natural to want to alter one's subjective experience by drugs, plants, TV, all the arts etc. The problem is the US prohibition which has corrupted everything in Mexico and much of the US. Prohibition does not work, it has never worked and has only resulted in corruption high and low and criminal billionaires.

He averages eight public lies per day and is an ignorant conman, but as long as he appears to be fighting to keep the border secure and to deport people who are in the country illegally he will have massive support. People do not want the USA to turn into Mexico. The reason the USA is such a desirable place to live is just because it is basically a European country. If people cannot see the truth to that statement they are basically blind, and if DN continues to associate an open border policy with more progressive movements, in the minds of those on the fence, they are really working for Trump.
