  4. Yeah and a few decades after the fact McNamara simply states that they really didn't know what they were doing in Vietnam. Well we knew what they were doing -- attempting to prevent a democratic election that would have swept Ho Chi Min into power, because of the false domino doctrine and the fear the Indonesia would go communist. What a bunch of evil morons.
