Altaï Wind This is arabian identity not their.

Altaï Wind Russians don't believe in Roman gods.

ThatDutchGuy Once upon a time many european nations were converted from catholicism to protestantism. So what is the problem? Religion was abolished in Russia by communists 100 years ago. So russians are mostly atheists and they do not have problems with their religion.

Altaï Wind "No more than about one-in-ten Russians said they attend religious services at least once a month. The share of regular attenders (monthly or more often) was 2% in 1991, 9% in 1998 and 7% in 2008."

Altaï Wind In Russia and other European countries, Roman identity is everywhere: architecture, alphabet, names, culture and science. Look at the euro banknotes - there is Roman architecture. This architecture is pre-Christian. Such were the temples of Hera and Apollo.

Altaï Wind Yes, Islamic identity is Arab identity because Islam is more than just a religion. Islam is religion plus authorities plus sharia law plus halal food and clothing etc.
1
Altaï Wind Again: there is no "our religion", because the overwhelming majority of Russians are atheists.

Altaï Wind The Iranians have lost their identical Zoroastrianism. Today they believe in an Arab prophet, use the Arabic alphabet, and live according to Sharia law. So who are they?

Altaï Wind Take a look at the World Values Survey (WVS). Nations with the same religions occupy similar places on the value map.

ThatDutchGuy Again, "No more than about one-in-ten Russians said they attend religious services at least once a month. The share of regular attenders (monthly or more often) was 2% in 1991, 9% in 1998 and 7% in 2008."

Altaï Wind There is such a thing as Postchristianity. You can say, russians are partly post-communist, partly slavic, partly post-orthodox.

ThatDutchGuy Holland once switched from Catholicism to Calvinism and then returned back to Catholicism. So please tell me why the Rohingya people can't change their religion?
