  4. Suburbs like those in the US are not very common in Russia. Something similar can be seen in expensive "cottage settlements" (gated communities). Usually people in Russia live outside the cities in villages, settlements and garden communities. They have a local school, a medical center, some stores, a bus and train stop. Usual land lot is 600-1200 sq.meters. Double garages are not common but you can build whatever you want.

  6. A single person or even a couple usually does not need an oven. Nowadays it is popular to eat at fast food restaurants or order ready-made food home.
