@michaelsteffensen6844 And the monster who did it did it because it sexually excited him to dominate the only woman in his life who was ever willing to stand up to him. Also, it highlights how lightly rape has and is treated in the Western World. The guy had raped two women before and served basically like a month for both of them. And neither were even on his records.

There is an absolutely amazing video of that tornado. Maybe the beet video of a tornado I’ve ever seen, which is so ironic since no one was expecting it and there are no chasers there while tornado alley sometimes 100+ people at once chasing tornados with cameras permanently recording.

Probably one of the top 3 most famous tornadoes ever.

@chewy99. Happens extremely often. What do you mean by “nobody even heard it?” If you mean, nobody heard until it was too late to go anywhere, then yes, that still happens often.
3
@hmarie2494 15 years older you mean. Totally.

The COVID vaccine temporarily teleports you to the moon. That’s why I take them in a spacesuit and do them frequently.

More exercise, healthier eating and less stress = the best health/lifestyle advice for 95% of medical issues.

More exercise, healthier eating and less stress = the best health/lifestyle advice for 95% of medical issues. I don’t begrudge him for using an opportunity when people were easily influenced to accept behavioral modification to help people get healthier w/common sense advice.

@davidandrews2972 I love Bernard Cornwell’s Arthurian trilogy. It’s utterly amazing. Made me want to go back in time and hunt that deformed son of the king / half brother to Arthur.
2
This was obviously a large scale case of folly a deux or mass psychosis.
2
One of your best videos.

Listen to How Did This Get Made’s episode about the movie Nothing But Trouble.

The Rockefeller case IS NOT UNSOLVED: https://youtu.be/ulBDEDP1rCU The family actually paid an enormous reward to an investigator for solving the caee.

OMG, the sun only has about a billion years to go before it gets so hot it boils the ocean away!
1
Bobby Jack Fowler = The dictionary face of a serial killer. All these stories are much covered much better in many other videos. So, this was kind of a waste of a video.
1
@randomname3109 Worst analogy ever.
1
lol, even a quasi nerd (I count myself as one) couldn’t help the dick joke.
1
Some of those “awful” mainstream eugenics ideas aren’t that awful. Look at where having billions of dim witted fools is taking the world. Sterilizing sex offenders and pedophiles would be fine with me. Targeting ethnic groups not so much.
1
“We nuked the Van Allen.” Only in uhhmurrica.
1
To answer your question: cause aliens. How happy were oxen that the first R101 crashed and got the program canceled. Airships are awesome though. I really hope we get at least a few old school ones in service for tourism.

Beard cream is mined? Do all the miners wear plaid and suspenders?

“It’ll bork you up! It’ll bork you up good!”

Nuclear energy is literally the only short term hope for significantly reducing the carbon footprint. It’s also a million times safer than most people think it is.
1
The Expanse book series shows all the different ways war due to resources, preemptive security decisions, miscommunications, cultural differences, etc. make space related wars inevitable. Edit: lol he mentions the series at 8:05. Shit like this is a perfect example of why the more advanced we get, the closer to humanity’s doom we get. A large war over could literally wipe out most of the life on earth.
1
I read about this in Nat Geo years ago. It was a fascinating story.
1
I don’t think many people got your allusion to the Belgian Congo....an entire country owned by one, racist white Belgian King. Literally, it was only his. Not a colonial possession of Belgium., which would normally include civil administrators and institutions. We can guess how much the Congolese enjoyed his rule.

My mom literally has at least 75 different spices and among many of those 75, she has multiple variations. But she cooks a shit ton.

What a waste of resources to send someone back to the moon, unless there are going to be some huge benefits from it.
1
I love how briefly the Weinstein, Epstein and R. Kellystein pictures appear. They love flashing. BTW, great to see YT demonetizing science. 🙄
1
@n3v558 Dude, that totally works and is safe.
1
That dude is like top 3 most well known tornado chaser. He’s like straight out of central casting for “super enthusiastic expert/geek” in xyz field. (BTW, I’m pro geek, so not an insult).
1
Seems like Joe is doing a lot of Thoughty 2 videos.
1
You gotta break some eggs to mine some omelettes. Eggs being humans in this case.
1
Don’t you mean “as a hot pool boy.” And stop banging my wife! And when you deliver pizza, I know it’s just you again but holding a pizza box!
1
@peterkallend5012 Don’t knock Glencoe, Winnnetka and Highland Park! We’ll whine all we want.
1
@peterkallend5012 I’d rather see your initial reply which explained you’re not a pool boy [and then something more] but that’s all the notification preview showed.
1
Actually, a combination of things we imagine in SciFi movies, emerging technology and issues that need to be solved are the biggest drivers of futurism.
1
Houdini was said to have the goat balls sewed to his balls thing.
1
@HrSamstag I should have said “even in the Western World*.” I think it’s taken for granted, sexual violence is not properly policed or punished in developing countries.
1
@souljastation5463 I know, but Austria was and is an exception. Also, while sentencing has gotten more severe, there are still too many rapists getting off lightly. In India, you can gang rape someone in public and get away with it. Their failures don’t mean we don’t need to do better.
1
@D4Shepherd I think we’ll last longer than that, but it won’t be pretty.
1
@onebullet4everyfascist I want my grandkids to be irradiated monsters willing to brain someone for a rat.
1
It is so sad that we’re down to 0-1 dirigibles operating that are available to the general public. There was one in the bay area until recently but it went out of business. I believe there’s one in Germany or Austria that does tours, but I think it also stopped operating for some reason.
1
Busted! lmao Love the story about how the first US satellite was delivered.
1
Littlefoot is actually way more plausible than bigfoot.
1
It’s sad how badly we need to be building nuclear power plants and aren’t because of a combination of Hollywood action movies portraying nuclear power plants as basically potential nukes and because of all of two nuclear disasters in 50+ years of operation (one of which western atomic energy commissions was vulnerable) v. endless oil and natural gas related environmental disasters.
1
I know hyenas are going to get mentioned. It’s one of nature’s cruelest evolutions. Female hyenas have a very painful life. Edit: it was literally the first one.
1
I don’t care. JK, I do care. If it helps, there are always thousands of people who got no recognition for their contribution to huge achievements. Worse, the wrong people often get the lion’s share of the credit.
1
I care. I care.
1
A great historical and holistic view on the situation.
