How many times have we heard “family realized xyz giant predator was getting too big.” They ALWAYS knew. They’re just garbage people.

@NeonSwordsManFangattack You think lion cubs are just randomly mixed in with kittens at shelters? No, they’re super expensive to buy. And even if you somehow did get one by accident you would need to have a mentally handicapped level IQ not to recognize you’ve gotten a lion cub. Sorry, but if you don’t have the common sense to recognize this you might be in that group.

Such a character, such lovely colors and his joy for life is so obvious. “Oh, Herman. I think I need a life, buddy.” Uh, said me so many times to an animal, except the Herman part lol. It’s a lot of work when u end up with the all these fur balls. Like us, they need endless love (actually a lot more cause they demand a lot less attention than even my wife and she likes to yak).

I love how much love crows have been getting the past few years on The Dodo and in the media in general. It basically took the net and YouTube for science to recognize their intelligence is off the charts.

They are one of the first species scientists have proven intergenerational learning.

The amount of ticks and bugs he gets off the dogs make him actually helpful raiser than a burden.

A crow will tell its murder if an individual is friendly and other crows will know to trust that person without ever having met that person. Same about a dangerous person in the other way. She can teach the crows to share. We have doves living in a lime tree that is literally only five feet high. The doves have learned we will protect their chics while they’re away. We’ve had to put little wire spikes in all directions to keep cats from climbing the tree to kill the babies. She’s already had five sets of babies over 1.5 years despite google saying they don’t reproduce that often.

I have six crows I am buddies with. They are much more cautious than Bo though.

Herman has pretty plumage. He’s definitely having a good life. I do not pity him in the least. He’s has both his wild life and flying days + a safe, pampered life with easy food and lots of love (birds literally think you’re in love with them if you pet them because it’s actually how mates show sexual attraction to each other and why birds typically dislike owners’ opposite sex partners).

To be a young dog snd not go after squirrels means she really does have a heart of gold. And she is DAMN SMART.

Amazing story and fascinating that Scout the vulture took care of the baby crows. Turkey vultures almost never eat any live prey. People often mistake black vultures, which do eat live prey, for turkey vultures.

Good job, brother. It’s crazy how often deer go directly to humans for help.
