  4. ⁠ @wakingtheworld I looked it up and news articles confirm the fact. The channel didn’t want to include that inconvenient piece of evidence. Amazingly, the leader of the investigative task force was accused by her OWN COLLEAGUES of destroying evidence that showed he had an alibi for the 1 murder he was convicted of, she failed a polygraph on that question and on whether or not she had coached her witnesses (yes, I know polygraphs are unreliable BS, but still it’s clear she was corrupt) and their entire case was based on jailhouse boasting and someone saying he saw him with two of the prostitutes. If the guy wasn’t pure scum, there’s no way he gets convicted. But since he was basically a homeless drug addict with a penchant for beating up women, he’d never have been convicted.

  5. I disagree. He seemed cool and collected the entire time. Police often claim to have DNA evidence when they don’t and he reacted just a man who knew (or incorrectly thought he knew in this case) they didn’t actually have anything. I think you’re projecting what you think his reaction should be on to what you saw.

  7. What?! Totally innocent people agree to get interviewed by the police on capital cases all the time. So, yeah, that confirmed nothing. The man is a monster, but meeting the police without an attorney showed nothing. If he was ready to be caught he would have cooperated after being convicted.

  20. BTW, the case against this guy was dropped and no other students ever came forward and students said they’d heard no rumors of him doing stuff like this. This sounds highly likely to be a man who had his life destroyed by a false allegation.

  22. It’s crazy how draconian our sentencing has been for things like robbing 50 dollars from a convenience store, but rape sentencing has been ridiculously lenient. For a long time, Europe was only giving probation for rapes and months for pedo rapes. And they still give ridiculously light sentences.

  32. Prisoners wouldn’t consider a child predator for a teenager, but they don’t like sex offenders period. Being a cop to boot though, his fate is sealed.

Carrack, for example, was reported for SA when he was 19 by his OWN MOTHER, had 9 official complaints for SA and even had a trial begin before the woman dropped out AND STILL they did nothing. It was only after a woman reported him and made sure media also knew before they did anything. In the Park Prowler case they knew it was one of their own so they kept it hidden. No one in the public even knew it was happening.
