đ And not surprisingly Connor MacGregor is actually a distant descendant.
27
People are mostly looking for status symbols. Itâs pathetic. If youâre actually cool, you donât care if your shoes would gain you the most likes.
13
Connor MacGregor based himself on Gregor MacGregor. lol, that name is like someone named Nick McNick.
5
The topic really isnât hand bags though. Itâs anti-trust law.

You seemed so much more personable in this episode!

@CommanderRiker0 Cheap money wasnât the problem. Cheap $ gives people a chance who werenât born with billions to create something. The problem is investment banks having access to cheap money (it should be restricted to small businesses) and the banks gambling with depositorsâ and investorsâ money on a company basic due diligence and common sense would tell you would never work (an easily duplicated model, no assets, no model for making profit and never made profit, etc.).

MacGregor invented NFTs. They just werenât digital yet. Speaking of which, can you believe people are still falling for those?
2
@MM22966 Iâm friends with Gregor Gregory Jr. He has the coolest leopard SB Dunks đ
2
Letâs not forget about NFTs either.
2
@LeXx0r Yeah, but Switzerland is the size of a city. So, it doesnât really apply.
2
@ggg21201 Iâm down to crowdfund it.

Thatâs what she said.

âPayoisâ / 12,500 square miles is 11.5x the size of Rhode Island. An utterly massive area. Itâs probably not appropriate to cal it a âplot of land.â
1
@justinsayin3979 But most American states are nearly as large or larger than European countries (the entire EU has only 25% more people despite being far more densely populated). My main point is, imagine calling Belgium or West Virginia just a plot of land. A plot of land implies an area that an individual would own. Itâs why Iâve never heard of one measured in square miles rather than acres or hectares.

True luxury goods are not mostly bought by poor people. The wealthy are just getting wealthier. Itâs only the middle class and low income classes that keeps getting poorer.
1
Letâs be honest. Itâs not just the low income demos wasting absurd amounts of money on luxury brands. Itâs just that the low income demo is especially focused on well known luxury brands because they seek the status symbol more than the wealthy.
1
@JRRob3wn Thatâs ridiculous I agree. But overall this is just another example of the .1 engaging in divide and conquer tactics to distract from the fact that theyâre the ones sucking up all our wealth.
1
@kokojambo4944 The strength of a countryâs financial servicesâ capital has about zero relevance to how well 95% of its citizens are doing as well as the govâs financial health. The fact that so few people realize that or that the stock market now little relation to the the economy they are dependent, except for when it gets extremely bad while they profit little more during bull markets.

There were boys as young as 8 who served in the British Navy. Though obviously they had a different status to adults.

A) Congress should outlaw shoring. No one besides billionaires and major stockholders would object to such legislation. B) AI, on balance, has very little benefit for humanity besides making billionaires wealthier, helping some small businesses but hurting way more small businesses and contractors.

Hunterâs trading model was quite literally the same as if I went long on Country Time Lemonade EVERY summer because people drink lemonade during summer.
1
 @MM22966 True enough.
1
And the scams people fall for today. And not just those absurd Indian Amazon and âback customer serviceâ scams, but the wealthy are constantly falling for BS investments. Theyâre just too embarrassed to admit to those theyâve fallen for most of the time, unless they reach a certain size.

@williamhatfield8935 Musk is another great conman, but in a bit of different vein. While a lot of his projects are nonsense and he endlessly lies and distorts, his biggest products and projects have created value. However, his companies are exponentially overvalued because he has a billion+ everyday people who think heâs like a Tesla or Edison level inventor who canât miss.

The Supreme Court is now dominated by justices who are brazenly corrupt and smirk at the governmentâs inability to do anything about it. So, yeah, the root of the problem is in control of the problem.

Coach was never luxury goods though.

I speak Scottish Gaelic and mdhdhs usher hddns mdksf. Got it?

You could actually join the British Navy as young as 8 years old. Maybe you meant 17 was the youngest age at which you could purchase a commission. Did Connor MacGregor model himself on Gregor MacGregor? Itâs hard to blame the guy for pretending to be a noble since you basically couldnât advance without capital or access to the aristocracy who didnât achieve anything by being born with a title. However, the rest was despicable.
1
Itâs not that theyâre uninformed. They just desperately need/want the campaign funds.

This is the best video on YouTube. lmao, this was a masterclass of sarcasm using just the most basic of common sense. I mean the place would be awesome if a childâs fantasy could be turned into reality at the snap of a finger.

Even if they could even half of what they said it would include, Iâd live there. Sadly, we canât built 200km long holodecks yet.
1
@davidshatto7604 lol, I bet 70% of people thought you were being serious.
1
@dawnfire82 Itâs easy to generate massive profits when you have massive capital. And, the middle classes have paid a far larger % of their income to taxes than the wealthy since the â80s.
