  2. You need to do some basic research now and then. Example: Blowing the dam would flood the south bank + hurt the Russian army and Crime more than the AFU and Ukrainians. However, it would still be a disaster for Ukraine.

  3. What will determine how the rest of the war goes will be who can win the contest to dominate the mid-altitude sky. MANPADS prevent RAF flying low altitude sorties, their S-300 and other new SAMs prevent high altitude if they can maintain enough cruise missiles. But Ukraine need more mid altitude AA SAMs and self-propelled anti-air guns. The second most important thing is getting the AFU more tanks and APCs. Third is more jets. Ukraine’s Air Force is very, very small now after losing a number of planes and sheer airframe stress.

  7. The Battle of Bakhmut has a better ring. 🇷🇺 will probably take Bakhmut, but big deal. The town was walking distance from their starting point in Dontestk city. Pathetic. 🇺🇦 needs a strong air-to-air platform with good BVR weapons like the meteor. The Mirage-2000 doesn’t fit that bill.
