Do you shave your head for tank videos? That’s dedication!

The T-72 isn’t bad. It’s not great either and the export model was worse. It was more that they had awful tankers, awful ISR, and awful comms. So, they were always going to get lose badly.

I’d improvise my own sticky charge via sticking it in a dense ball of mud and then toss. What could go wrong? lol As for sticky charge countermeasures on the hull, I hear barnacles work great.

Well, obviously you don’t/wouldn’t have your other armor actually right behind the MCV. Also, in current wars, these are more often employed after MICLICs have allowed infantry narrow paths to get through and suppress enemy infantry, followed by using artillery to eliminate and push back their artillery. Then the MCVs come in.

Mines have been massively successful for both sides in the Ukraine war. The ability to place mines behind enemy lines with drones and artillery has also become a major factor.

Russia’s situation, in terms of combat condition and capabilities, is far more dire.

Do you have any idea if this idea been broached to the Bundeswehr at any decently senior level? It would obviously be extremely useful and a low cost aid item, especially since they’re being replaced.
