This painting was a deterrence message to China. The message: If you try to grab one of our satellites, you won’t succeed and we’ll have evidence to boot.
1
“These are not the Chinese spies you’re rooking for. We’re free to go.” “Move arong. Move arong.”

@Xenomorphine Agility...lThe stand off ranges of our newest missiles are beginning to reach the combat radius of the F-18 alone. Pair that w/the B21’s ability to fly unmanned, the insane evo and number of available ISR + targeting sensors and sources + the fact we have fast and agile for unlikely scenarios where it’s needed means agility is a nice plus rather than necessity and mostly the hobby horse of people who are concerned about our aircraft seeming totally “badass” and whimsical head-to-head arguments.
1
@ The B-21 has come in UNDER budget. Get your basic facts right please.

But, yeah, let’s give Putzin everything he wants.
1
I think he missed the fact that the article even claimed the Russians were the ones pulling the dead from debris IN Ukraine. So, I guess Ukraine is now allowing Russians to conduct search and rescue in their own country now. 😂
1
@elijahtiemens5532 But Ukraine doesn’t try to make them look like miniature stealth fighter jets.
1
@honkhonk8009 Their government is the exact opposite of competent. I am confounded as to where you got that impression. Source: myself, as someone who does strat-intel reports.
1
@honkhonk8009 Yup, we’re a mess. I’d actually prefer Chinese governance to be competent. It’d be a better world for all of us.

Project Venom aka Project Self-Extinction

Since it usually takes years to work out the kinks in new systems and learn best how to use them, I’m not sure how well this would work out in actual practice. Yes, it could work if it’s really just constant evolution of one platform it’d likely work. We’ll see how that works out.
1
You’re pretty fry for a white gry.
1
I’m sure Elmo will be selling to Russia and China shortly.
1
Doubt it since we know dudes in sandals living in caves are no longer our quarry. Sensitive Iranian, NK, Russian and Chinese facilities and systems are.
1
@yuglesstube You clearly haven’t been paying attention. Despite what Surovikin built for that gaggle of fools, Russia has barely hung on and wouldn’t have been able to fortify at leisure had Ukraine been given decent armament BEFORE the war. They were still waiting when summer began for most of the promised deliveries and didn’t get the most crucial items (ATACMS) until October and even then all of 21. And just 21 wreaked havoc on their air bases. Had they had that earlier Russia wouldn’t have been able to build amazingly good passive fortifications paired with well placed trenches for conducting cross-fire and tactical retreats. Equally important, Russian Ka-52s would have been pushed out of CAS range. You’re confusing submission through fear with resolve. Russians did as much damage to themselves as Ukraine did with up to 60% of their casualties resulting from friendly fire, friendly mines, accidents and murders due to alcohol and an assortment of other insanity. They’ve taken a massive advantage in almost everything besides precision artillery and turned it into barely getting past the borders of the territory they controlled pre-Feb 2022. Ludicrous? Yeah. Ludicrous how they’ve lost 65% of their Soviet stockpile to a country that began with less tanks than Russia has captured, most of their Black Sea fleet, most of their good pilots, etc., etc.

If 🇺🇸 triangle aircraft suddenly split apart into more craft + come back together and range from tiny to enormous in size, then maybe. The issue w/your anti-gravity engine point is assuming progress in reverse engineering.
1
I was going to say the same, but it deserves to be endlessly hyped. If only to try and save us $. Oh no! I just know all that $ saved will go to other toys! 😭😢 😂😂
1
You’re Alex Hollings & This is Ayatollah Power!
1
It’s hilarious often people need to be reminded of this this extremely simple point or has to be explained to be people who never knew of this in the first place.
1
@hopper131 Canada is compromised by China to a pathetic level. I’m not pointing fingers either. We’ve got big problems here too.
1
The M500 is yet more proof missiles like the JASSM-ER is either way overpriced and/or way overbuilt and more advanced than is needed for 90% of its likely missions.
1
If we’re trying to get bang for our buck, we should also be investing in + sourcing systems from 🇺🇦 Beyond the obvious like drones, their SPH / Caesar equivalent (2S22 Bohdana) for nearly a third the price and items like 155mm once the war is over (yeah, that could be a while).
1
🇨🇦 is already so owned and penetrated by China that there’s no hope they’ll ever keep Chinese intelligence out of their sensitive information. Anyway, it’s infuriating how easily we let 🇨🇳 get away w/stealing trillions in sensitive IP.
1
You’re Alex Hollings!
1
Unless it’s using stolen IP, I doubt China will be able to pull off anything impressive in the engine department. They better keep a close eye on PWC since they’ve sold classified tech to China before.
1
lol@so many claiming that the submersible drone that washed up on Scripps beach is a Manta Ray submersible.
1
Wrong, yo can communicate with extremely long wires and tin cups.
1
@Kenny-yl9pc Considering how happy most were about the war when it first began, uh, yeah…no sympathy.
1
Plain old Google satellite shots have caught lots of stuff they’re trying to hide. Well, the army told me the axiom “if it works it’s stupid.”
1
Actually, nothing says you’re not a car guy more than using VTEC as a reference.
1
@joserene-t5z Check out this tiny sunshade! You’ll never guess where the fuel door button is on the F-47. But really Doug would be doing old stealth aircraft like the F-117.
1
@bigemugamer Exactly, look at Trump’s excitement to surrender to Russia for absolutely no reason. Oh wait, that’s probably cause Putin probably promised to give him $ and said nice things about him.
1
@ Except the US didn’t lose a single battle and their enemies lost men at literally 50:1 or worse ratios. Unlike Russia though, we weren’t willing to absolutely decimate civilian populations. Just a reminder, almost all the civilians deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan were due to terrorists attacks.
1
@raul835 They weren’t defeated. They didn’t lose a single battle in either war. They got sick of wasting $. Meanwhile, Russia DID leave Afghanistan due to casualties.
1
I’m so nauseatingly jealous of the EX pilots.
1
@ indeed

I’m sure the M16 was pointed at his head with media all around (not). …I don’t doubt the other bits, but their efforts were for naught since a magazine chartered a Cessna that somehow got into the airspace that allowed them to photograph all the angles. Unless the pics are edited (or craft is altered) to mislead the PLA, I’d rather have no idea what these look like than allowing them to see it, UNLESS they know the PLA has obtained all the technical details already (which is very possible). It’s fun to see it, but I prefer a massive technical advantage than pretty pictures.
1
@RamblingRodeo Making high quality ballpoint pen tips is actually a lot trickier than one might think. However, yeah they’re garbage on average at high tolerance manufacturing.
1
Even if they don’t have the necessary aircraft to develop good stealth busting radars, they’ll just steal ours when we finish designing it.
1
The F-16 is not at all one of the best platforms for the jobs it’s needed and the environment it’s operating in, especially with the armament and radars we’re going to give it. Is it still a solid platform though for their needs though? Yes. Of course. BTW, Tullia: what an absolute beast.
1
There’s nowhere on earth where the US Navy is “weeks away from a friendly port.” 🤦♂️ And think about where this war would be taking place. You’re talking about a maximum of hours to the closer friendly ports.
1
Duh-Doy!
1
@mephisto2812 I’ve seen this shill. The US agreed to allow Chinese police to operate in the U.S. to fight corruption, but then had to cancel the program when it turned out 🇨🇳 was only interested in “fox hunts” (a term for hunting dissidents).
1
“...and SU-57s combined.” So, that adds all of two to the total. BTW, f the budget, besides mutual disarmament, extremely dominant air superiority is critical in era with a bellicose nuclear armed China, Russia, North Korea, etc.
1
You’re about five years late to this story, which has been covered on about 5,000 channels.
1
I’d say mandatory deep vets on any 🇨🇳-American esp. if they still have family in 🇨🇳. But the scientist who made the breakthrough on CRAM for our stealth jets is a Chinese-American woman who made the development with no government funding. I’d say Canada should too, but they’re already owned by China and so penetrated they’re a lost cause.
1
Aerospace Reporter of The Year. lol. I love your channel, but as someone who has worked on submissions to awards like these and other speciality professions, I can say they’re almost all BS.
1
We need to keep hours down on the F22. The F117 should be exploited as much as possible.
1
We’ve got 100k+ other capable missiles and GBs. WTC, 🇺🇦’s shown that a) most of these weapons can be produced for far less b) they need more robust anti-EW capability c) most importantly, huge stockpiles of simple, dirt cheap weapons (many of which can do 3-4 other jobs) can do more for 95% less money than most of our missiles and drones except for the most challenging environments and hardened targets.
