@yu6387t3d I’d like to see an answer to this question too. A CIWS is, after all, mounted on a moving, unstable platform. It may just be a matter of how compact the system controlling the gun is. After all, ship and land based CIWS have zero space restrictions and can use targeting from massive and insanely expensive radars + computers.
