  1. The NYT called this modestly sized new front, still in its infancy, “a stunning new offensive” + said “selling the war and victory is getting increasingly easy” in 🇷🇺. I want what they’re smoking or if their “source” giggles while feeding them this nonsense.

  2. Bad leadership below him has always been part of Putin’s plan because he doesn’t want a rival. That is doubly true now. He is too paranoid to allow the army to develop a cohesive command structure with a clear leader because that leader may consolidate too much power and too many plaudits.

  3.  @jasoncowley4718 Yup. There are endless war crimes of staggering evil and brutality happening in eye watering numbers. Much of it with video. Yet the NYT rarely makes a peep about them. But there are a dozen or more articles every day on Israel’s actions despite the long term implications of that war not having one-tenth the long term importance for the shifting world order.
