  3.  @Serjo777 Those accounts are nearly invariably more interesting than those of kings, generals and famous politicians of the time. I think we all hunger to know the details of their lives, which is often the hardest information to find because, just like today, one wouldn’t think to detail their mundane every day habits. Wait…strike that.
