  3.  @alexlo7708  That was not good, but even the worst self imposed US safety standards are better than the best Chinese safety standards. Simply look at Boeing’s safety history. Safer than any other aviation manufacturer in history. Airbus: 35 crashes, 28.3 million flights, 0.81 million flights per crash Boeing: 251 crashes, 461 million flights, 1.84 million flights per crash

  4.  @wanderschlosser1857  You may be thinking of older catapults and you’re not just launching one plane. You also need shit loads of power for a million other things on state of the art carrier. So, power is most definitely an issue. The unlimited range part goes without saying.
