Estonia, whose GDP is 207x smaller than the GDP of 🇫🇷, 🇪🇸, 🇮🇹 yet they’ve givne more military aid than them. That’s pathetic!

It doesn’t matter if the clueless public think 🇺🇦 can win. A negotiated peace is impossible. So, we need to just get on w/it & stop providing half-assed aid. The craziest aspect of the poll is they think a negotiated compromise will end the war. That shows they don’t understand the war.

@karinfend2980 Some EU countries are doing great (that’s why I named specific states), but EU states like 🇫🇷 donating literally less than .1% of their GDP is pathetic. Also, this is not a comparison saying the US is doing better. They’ve done worse than most European countries and almost as badly as France for its size.

@karinfend2980 All these people, like you, who immediately feel like they need to defend EU or US aid are a big problem. It lets the many countries barely doing anything get away w/doing less than the bare minimum.

@chrislambaa7586 Yup, France, Spain and Italy are all big military arms exporters, especially France. Yet, they won’t even divert a bit of what they make to 🇺🇦 or give a decent amount of what they have in stock.

@karinfend2980 I’ve counted that aid. It’s still pathetic. And any “secret aid” would total a few hundred million AT MOST and I doubt there’s much secret giving. If you’re openly giving SCALP, there’s not much worth keeping secret besides maybe some rather unique ISR tools.

@roevhaal578 I never said they’d given more than them combined, but even so, it’ close. I based the calculation on the estimated 2023 GDP numbers, which are a lot bigger than 2021 and 2022.

@Micha-qv5uf It’s a crime the media isn’t taking 🇫🇷 🇪🇸 🇮🇹 🇧🇪 etc. to ask. $18b from 🇩🇪 vs $580m from🇫🇷 and 🇫🇷 freaked out when Scholz said some EU states needed to do more and wanted to see an actual list of aid delivered from each. He didn’t even name them. So, their spastic reaction is from a guilty conscious.
