  1. Jake doesn’t have the geopolitical chops to answer questions in that category. Or any awareness of history if he’s saying a Chechen uprising wouldn’t have an impact. Russia got their clocks cleaned during the Chechen war. Jake is good at curating headlines and good common sense answers to questions from casual observers of the war. Ben Hodges is great, but he’s mostly focused on doing a good of spreading the message on what Ukraine needs, why Russian can’t be trusted and why this war is so important. He’s not that in tune with every layer of the conflict.
