Sadly, half of Europe is STILL not aware of that. Just look at 🇫🇷, EU’s 2nd biggest economy, and it’s still given 40% less than tiny, tiny 🇱🇹 Lithuania. In fact, 🇱🇹 has given as much as🇫🇷 and 🇪🇸 out together.

@GARDENER42 Pretty sure I mentioned this above and I mention it everywhere. 80% of the stuff the US gave Ukraine wasn’t worth even 5% of the MSRP we slapped on it for optics, but ALL the countries did this. So the public thought they were spending loads despite almost all the weapons given by West were paid for decades ago AND most of the countries are getting paid back for the arms given or back filled with something much better. So, even a lot of the “donations” have really been a gift to themselves.

@ChuckAmadi They should have been carrying their weight, but we weren’t spending anything to help Ukraine (most of it was stuff we were paying to dispose of) and it’s not the time to teach Europe a lesson, but I’m 95% you’re a Krembot trying to sew dissent.

BTW, I remember the Marshall Plan being quite expensive. So was the Berlin Airlift. So was propping up the Deutsch Mark and rebuilding half of Western Europe. So, while the GOP is turning the US into a traitor, Europeans can’t pretending less money for leisure or even struggling to eat as much as they used to is anything like the sacrifice most of the world was going through in WWII.
