  1. The craziest part is that the US was making money off this war: A. Replacing 🇷🇺 NG + oil in the 🇪🇺 energy market has been worth billions B. Prior to Hesgeth’s Munich speech, record orders/profits for US defense contractors via orders primarily from 🇪🇺 (for themselves + Kyiv) and C. The real world price tag on our aid to 🇺🇦 has been tiny (less than .001% of the US GDP) w/the majority arms given having been retired and/or soon to be retired stockpiles (some dating to the ‘60s) that was costing us billions to dispose of (e.g., DPICM, M113s, MRAPS, HMMWVs, M50 based engineering vehicles, etc.). Arms that weren’t surplus = replacing it w/new, update versions purchased from 🇺🇸 companies w/American labor. In the process recovering a big % of the cost via corporate/income taxes + unit cost savings due to high volume. Yet the media never brings this up despite being the one thing that could actually get the MAGA base to turn against DT’s Ukraine stance.
